Although the business itself is new, Koppe Co has been in the works for several years now. 

When my boys were babies, I decided to dabble in photography. I took some classes, did a few photo shoots, shot a few weddings, and then decided it wasn’t for me. Then I tried blogging! Took a course, stumbled through building the page, posted a few things, then decided that wasn’t for me either!

I knew I wanted to do something online. I’ve always been creative. I love helping businesses succeed. I just didn’t know what that translated to!

I’ve worked in the hospitality industry for almost 20 years now, minus the few years I was home with my babies. I’ve been an Administrative Assistant, Marketing Analyst, Sales Manager, Catering Coordinator, Marketing Manager, and even Foodservice Sales Rep. 

When I wasn’t working, I was volunteering. My family is really big into Scouting, and I spent a lot of my boys’ elementary years helping out their Cub Scout Pack – from events to fundraising! I’m also a founding member of my community’s annual Veteran’s Ball, where I help design all of the artwork, manage ticket sales, etc.

At some point during the pandemic, I came to the realization that a really good side hustle was necessary! I ran across a course on how to become a Virtual Assistant. At first I thought, “Oh, I’m not going back to being a ‘secretary’ again! I’ve come too far in my career!” But I took the course anyway. 

And somewhere along the way, I realized I didn’t have to be a general admin – I could help businesses by doing what I am great at!

So that’s when Koppe Co emerged. While I am still working full time as a Corporate Marketing Manager for a group of casinos, I can share my love for helping small businesses and event planners by doing what I do best so that they can focus on what THEY do best!
